Ragdolls are very dependant on there owners not only for their daily
needs, but the bond in which they so desire to have with there human
family. They are a special and wonderful breed and there stable character
and gentle personality is what sets them apart from all other breeds of
cats. The name “Ragdoll came about due to their ability to
completely relax in your arms, just like a child hood toy. Please be aware,
that not every ragdoll will do this and if they do so it is because of
the strong bond they have with you which makes them comfortable enough
to relax to this degree.

They have very soft, rabbit like fur, which is non-matting and also
they tend to be a low shedding breed. Neutered male rag dolls weight
normally varies from 15 - 20 pounds and spayed females about 10 - 15 pounds
at full maturity. A ragdoll normally hits full maturity at about 3
years of age, by this time they will be at there full potential for
weight and there coat color will be at its richest in coloring.

Ragdolls are very intelligent and can be easily trained by using voice
commands. They are wonderful with children and easily adapt to a
household with other animals. They are incredibly playful and thrive on
human companionship.
